One of the largest Russian IT contractors, the Lanit group of companies, ended 2025 with a sharp decline in financial performance. The net profit of JSC "Lanit" decreased by 63.6% and amounted to only 17.4 million rubles, Kommersant reports, citing RAS statements. The company's revenue fell by 33.1% — from 14.1 billion to 9.4 billion rubles.
The decline in profit has been continuing for the fourth consecutive year. In 2022, Lanit's net profit amounted to 801 million rubles, in 2023 — 151.3 million, in 2024 — 47.9 million. At the same time, profit from sales decreased from 374.6 million rubles in 2024 to 75.4 million in 2025.
The company explained the decline in performance by "organizational reasons." Despite the decline in profit, Lanit remains one of the largest contractors of the state. According to analysts, the company is listed as a supplier in 1148 government contracts for a total amount of over 51 billion rubles. Among the customers are the Federal Treasury, Rosreestr, Sberbank, Rostelecom, the Ministry of Energy, and other departments.
In 2025, Lanit-Integration won the tender of the Federal Treasury for the supply of equipment for the modernization of information security systems for an amount of about 300 million rubles. In 2024, the company concluded a contract for the development of the "Electronic Budget" system for an amount of more than 2.2 billion rubles.
