The main legal entity of Microsoft Corporation in Russia has been declared insolvent — the corresponding decision is recorded in the file of arbitration cases. The court ruled to declare the debtor bankrupt and open bankruptcy proceedings, that is, to start the procedure of selling assets to settle with creditors.
The bankruptcy petition was filed with the court in mid-2025, after which the case was considered in accordance with the established procedure.
The financial performance of the company's Russian structures had previously shown a noticeable decline. According to TASS, the total revenue of the four subsidiaries of the corporation in Russia in 2025 decreased by 29.5%, and profit by 13.8%.
According to the reports, Gazprombank, Medsi, Faberlic, Uralkali and Sitronics IT are among the creditors of Microsoft Rus.
