Heavyweight Robot: NRTK "Courier" Learns to Carry Almost Half a Ton of Cargo on the Front Lines

The ground robotic complex "Courier", in conjunction with a trailer, is capable of transporting up to 400 kilograms of cargo. This was announced by the robot operator with the call sign Dymok in a video published by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the tactical and technical characteristics, the standard load capacity of the "Courier" is 200 kg, but with a trailer, the volume of cargo transported doubles: it calmly passes through fields, sands, and small hills, the serviceman noted.

Thanks to the robot, the delivery of ammunition and other cargo to the front line takes place without risk to the lives of the military. "Courier" effectively performs its functions, and a person does not have to risk himself.

Earlier, the "Courier" was first shown with a rocket launcher system. A 107-mm MLRS "Type 75" with eight guides was installed on the robot - a full salvo takes less than 15 seconds, and control is carried out remotely from a shelter. This is how the developers turn the "Courier" into a universal carrier for various tasks: the "Bagulnik-82" mortar module and the "Adis" smoke screen system have already been installed on this platform.
