Belgee is adding Level 2 autopilot: start of sales of X50+ with a turbo engine and robot

The crossover received a 14.6-inch touchpad and emergency braking with pedestrian silhouette capture

The Belarusian brand Belgee has opened orders for the restyled Belgee X50+ crossover. The model has been certified by OTTS and is entering the dealer network of the republic with a power plant that has not previously been installed on cars of the brand: a 1.5 gasoline turbo engine with direct injection is mated to a seven-speed "robot" with a double clutch.

In the top Prestige configuration, the car receives Level 2 electronic assistants. These include intelligent cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and an automatic braking system that recognizes pedestrians. The interior is equipped with a vertical 14.6-inch multimedia screen with Full HD resolution, wireless charging and atmospheric lighting.

The assistant package for the first time brings Belgee into the niche of technological "Chinese cars", where more expensive Geely and Chery previously dominated. The presence of second-level active safety systems at a relatively low starting price is a direct blow to the Lada Vesta segment and budget foreign cars, where they are only talking about such a set of options so far. For the market of the Union State, this is actually a ready-made proposal for import substitution of advanced crossovers with turbocharging.
