The "Rosel" holding (part of Rostec) has developed a new software package that automatically controls drone countermeasures systems and is capable of independently responding to threats. The solution forms a unified loop for the interaction of UAV detection and suppression equipment.
Rostec clarified that the solution is primarily intended for the protection of industrial facilities and transport infrastructure.
The complex not only notifies the operator of violations of air borders, but is also capable of independently making decisions about the activation of countermeasures. That is, the technology eliminates the human factor and is able to react to threats instantly.
The platform combines various devices into a single control center, displays targets on a map in real time, keeps a log of events, and allows you to set allowed and prohibited flight zones.
Dmitry Kuzyakin, General Designer of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions (CCBR), noted that combined protection against drones can be divided into several levels.
According to him, we are talking about mobile anti-aircraft groups, "Pantsir" crews, army helicopters and FPV air defense units. Some units hack drones literally in flight or blind them with an electromagnetic pulse.
