The personal satellite communication station "R-444-PTN", capable of operating without ground infrastructure, was presented at the First All-Russian Space Week in Krasnoyarsk. The novelty was shown by the "Rosel" holding of the Rostec State Corporation based on the developments of the scientific and production enterprise "Radiosvyaz".
The "R-444-PTN" station provides a stable data transmission channel at all levels of control — from the field level to regional headquarters. The main advantage of the device is complete autonomy: no cell towers, wired lines, or other elements of ground infrastructure are required for operation.
The compact format allows you to quickly deploy communication in expeditions, at remote sites and in emergency situations where traditional means are not available.
In addition to the key exhibit, the company demonstrated a satellite navigation signal simulator. The device generates a navigation stream in real time and reproduces arbitrary geographical coordinates. Engineers use the device to debug navigation systems and test their resistance to external influences before mass production.
