The chassis of the Russian ground robotic complex (GRTK) "Courier" has been equipped with the "Adis" smoke screen module for the first time. The robot developer of the same name showed footage from the tests.
The installation of the "Adis" modules turns the "Courier" into a full-fledged means of engineering support and cover. The system allows creating screens impenetrable to visual and thermal imaging observation, which is critical when evacuating the wounded or changing positions by assault groups.
Thanks to the compact size of the robot and the possibility of remote activation of smoke, the complex can secretly advance to the front line, providing a "security corridor" where the use of heavy equipment is impossible due to the risk of being hit by FPV drones.
Earlier, GRTK showed a video of testing the Russian mortar armament module "Bagulnik-82" on the chassis of the Courier GRTK.
In March, GRTK reported that the "Courier" received a trawl with an electromagnetic attachment for remote detonation of mines.
