Shipbuilders of the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant (SNSZ, St. Petersburg) launched the excursion passenger catamaran "Kaponir". This is the last of the four vessels of project 04710 "Sommers".
On the same day, the catamaran was handed over to the customer — the company "Neva Travel".
In a record short time, we managed to make a powerful leap in updating the passenger fleet of St. Petersburg.
Nabatov expressed hope that SNSZ will continue the construction of catamarans of the "Sommers" and "Kotlin" projects.
Vessels of project 04710 "Sommers"
The excursion catamarans were built by order of GTLK for "Neva Travel". They are used for transportation in the waters of the Kronstadt forts. The lead vessel — "Bastion" entered the route in September 2024. The second catamaran — "Ravelin" was launched in June 2025. "Gabion" and "Kaponir" will be commissioned in 2026.
