The Modern Machine-Building Company (SMK) has filed a lawsuit to declare bankrupt JSC "MMZ Skorost," which participates in the production of new MC-21-310 aircraft. The notification was published on the Fedresurs portal.
JSC "MMZ Skorost" produces metal parts and assembly units for wings, tailplanes, and mechanization units specifically for MC-21 aircraft.
The editor-in-chief of the Avia.ru portal, Roman Gusarov, noted that "MMZ Skorost" is definitely not a key supplier for the production of MC-21. According to him, many enterprises supply parts for the aircraft, and even if one drops out, nothing terrible will happen.
There are first-level suppliers who are really critical for the aircraft, but we all know them.
The company is associated with PAO "Yakovlev" and operates in the special economic zone "Technopolis Moscow."
