MTS has expanded its international money transfer service with the option to receive funds in cash. Now, users of the "My MTS" application can send money without using foreign bank cards, and recipients can collect the money in local currency at exchange points throughout these countries.
According to MTS, transfers are available from Russian bank cards, electronic wallets, and subscriber accounts. Funds can arrive within 10 minutes of sending. The minimum transfer amount is 500 rubles, and the maximum is 400,000 rubles, the company explained.
The "My MTS" application also allows you to pay for purchases using national QR codes in several countries, including Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam. Login to the application is available using the phone number of any Russian operator.
MTS subscribers can transfer funds and pay for purchases even with a negative balance, the message says.
