A Russian Il-96-400T cargo plane was unexpectedly spotted in Macau. The flight was operated by Sky Gates Airlines.
The aircraft with tail number RA-96101 was captured at the local airport. It is not yet known what kind of cargo the transport aircraft brought.
As a reminder, the Il-96-400T is capable of carrying up to 92 tons of cargo over a distance of 5,000 km, and with a load of 40 tons, up to 11,550 km.
The Il-96-400T is equipped with four PS-90A turbofan engines. The power plants ensure the preservation of controllability and the necessary thrust even in emergency situations, for example, in the event of a failure of one unit.
Earlier it became known that at the end of 2025, Sky Gates' loss increased almost 10 times — to 3.7 billion rubles.
