Volga has introduced the second model in the lineup — the C50 sedan. "The Fifties" will be a good alternative for private owners who previously drove Kia K5 and Mazda 6, and also do not recognize crossovers and are looking for a large, manageable sedan, said Alexander Vinogradov, reviewer of the magazine "Behind the Wheel" to the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta".
Vinogradov reminded that at one time many Toyota Camry owners switched to them precisely from Volga cars, and now the reverse process may occur. According to the specialist, in the audience of Volga C50 buyers there will be about 40% private owners and 60% corporate clients.
Volga C50 will become one of the most spacious representatives in its segment thanks to the D-class platform. The suspension is tuned with an emphasis on high smoothness and precise handling. Under the hood is a 2-liter gasoline turbo engine with direct injection in two boost options: 150 and 200 horsepower, working in tandem with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The model received a signature radiator grille with the Volga logo, as well as high-quality interior trim.
Sales of Volga C50 at official dealers of the brand will start in the summer of 2026. Details about trim levels and prices will appear closer to the start of sales.
