A new plastic body kit has been developed for the Lada Niva Bronto SUV, which has noticeably changed the appearance of the model. The main innovation is the radiator grille: the familiar Lada badge has been removed from it, and instead a molded Bronto inscription has appeared.
The car also received other bumpers, and external fasteners were used in the wheel arch extensions. The new body kit gives the Niva Bronto a more brutal and modern look, emphasizing its belonging to the off-road series.
In March 2026, AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales of the updated Niva Bronto in Luxe and Prestige trim levels. The car received improved noise and vibration isolation, an updated instrument panel with a climate system, heated front seats and the Era-GLONASS system. Around the same time, several SUVs in experimental bright colors were spotted at the VIS-Avto site, which sparked rumors about a possible expansion of the model's color palette.
Niva Bronto is equipped with a 1.7-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 83 horsepower, working in tandem with a five-speed manual gearbox and permanent all-wheel drive. The main off-road features of the model are three differential locks (center, front and rear), reinforced suspension and increased ground clearance up to 240 mm. The maximum speed is 137 km/h, acceleration to 100 km/h is 18 seconds.
