The latest heavy hexacopters "Mangas" destroyed enemy positions

The devices deliver ammunition to the front line and strike at enemy strongholds

Heavy hexacopters "Mangas" are successfully used in the war zone: the product has completed over 500 combat sorties to deliver ammunition, medicines, water and provisions to assault units, as well as to bomb enemy strongholds, reported military correspondent Chingiz Dambiev.

In conditions where the delivery of goods by land transport is difficult or impossible, hexacopters become a critical means of supply. The project, according to participants in the fighting, shows itself in the best light and really helps save the lives of servicemen, Dambiev notes. Drones allow you to deliver what you need to where it is impossible to get by land. The alternative is ground robots or aircraft, and "Mangas" has proven its effectiveness in real combat conditions.

"Mangas" is a Russian heavy hexacopter developed by the Baikal Tactical Group from Ulan-Ude in conjunction with developers from NRTK "Courier". The device is made according to a multi-rotor scheme with six supporting rods and is capable of carrying up to 150 kg of payload. The flight range with a minimum load reaches 50 km. The drone is powered by rechargeable batteries, equipped with an autopilot system and protection against electronic warfare equipment. The name "Mangas" is taken from Buryat mythology - this is what a multi-headed monster was called.
