The largest Russian manufacturer of agricultural machinery, Rostselmash, does not plan to launch new investment projects in 2026. This was announced by the co-owner of the company, Konstantin Babkin.
The company has been facing difficulties in selling its products for the third year. The situation deteriorated sharply in 2024, and in 2025 the company also reduced its production program. Against this background, the plant has cut about 2 thousand jobs.
We are currently trying to refine new models, we recently launched the production of bevel gears. That is, we will, of course, continue some projects for which the main investments have already been made. We are not planning any new projects.
For now, Rostselmash will continue to work on existing areas and product modernization. At the same time, the expansion of the investment program has been postponed until demand recovers.
