Yandex has learned to reject suspicious calls automatically. A call blocking feature for all unknown numbers has appeared in the proprietary caller ID. Users will be able to configure the service so that only familiar people and organizations saved in their contacts can reach them.
Previously, it was possible to block calls only from specific categories of numbers, such as advertising. Now you can block calls from any numbers except those allowed.
To do this, you will need to select who from the contact list to accept calls from - all other calls will be rejected automatically. You can enable the new option in the Yandex with Alice AI app or in the Yandex Browser for Android.
Yandex's caller ID uses AI-based methods, analyzing more than 300 factors about the behavior of numbers. At the same time, user data remains completely anonymous, the developers said.
