In Russia, food delivery using drones may become widespread in the coming years. This was stated by Minister of Transport Andrey Nikitin.
According to the head of the Ministry of Transport, the transition from tests to mass use is happening quickly.
From the appearance of a delivery robot to its relatively widespread use, it took about two years. I think, three to four years maximum.
It should be noted that the expansion of drone delivery will reduce the time and cost of logistics, especially in large cities and remote areas.
However, the main limitations are related to flight regulations, safety, and infrastructure. Scaling will require creating drone traffic management systems and adapting the urban environment.
