Now, important medical devices for cardiovascular surgery will be made in Kuzbass. In Kemerovo, the company "NeoCor" has opened a new plant that produces bioprostheses of heart valves. The company expects to dramatically increase production, meet the needs of the Russian market under sanctions, and expand exports.
In 2027, after the completion of registration procedures at the new site, they plan to launch the production of transcatheter heart valves from animal tissues here.
The total investment in the project amounted to 346 million rubles.
Of this amount, 90 million rubles in the form of a concessional loan under the joint program "Development Projects" was provided by the federal Industrial Development Fund. Another 10 million rubles were allocated by the Industrial Development Fund of Kuzbass. Additionally, 80 million rubles for the construction of a new production site was provided by MSP Bank.
NeoCor produces several types of medical devices for cardiovascular surgery, the company said. We are talking about bioprostheses of heart valves for implantation in patients with acquired heart defects, support rings for correcting the occlusive function of heart valves, cardiovascular patches that are used in the correction of congenital heart defects in children and in vascular surgery, as well as bioprostheses of blood vessels for the formation of shunts of the arteries of the lower extremities.
After moving from rented premises to its own production complex, the company will increase the production of bioprostheses of heart valves from 2 thousand to 4.5 thousand units per year. As expected, this will completely cover the needs of the Russian market under sanctions, as well as increase export deliveries.
The company also plans to supply products to the markets of India and other Asian countries.
