The new "Product 30" missile for Tu-160 and Tu-95 bombers can also be carried on the fuselage of fourth-generation Su-34 aircraft. Military expert Yuri Knutov revealed the unusual possibilities of unifying ammunition.
He explained that such a replacement of carriers would favorably affect the element of surprise, since the Su-34 is difficult to track from satellites due to its relatively small size.
If the Kh-101 can be carried by Tu-95 and Tu-160 bombers, then the Su-34 can also be the carrier of "Product 30".
Knutov added that "Product 30" has a wide range of applications and can destroy almost anything - work both on military-industrial complex facilities and on echelons with military equipment.
And on anti-aircraft missile systems, and on some underground shelters. At the same time, its main advantage is stealth.
Presumably, "Product 30" received a wingspan of about 3 m and a warhead of about 800 kg. The missile's navigation system includes a jam-resistant satellite signal receiver "Comet-M12".
It should be noted that the Su-34's arsenal includes ammunition comparable in power to the alleged warhead of "Product 30". For example, the FAB-1500 air bomb with UMPC weighs 1.5 tons and pure explosives of about 700 kg. That is, "Product 30" with a warhead of 800 kg even surpasses a one-and-a-half-ton air bomb in destructive power.
