The Uralvagonzavod concern, which is part of the Rostec state corporation, has shipped a new batch of universal armored engineering vehicles (UBIМ) to the troops.
The vehicle is based on the T-90 tank, has good armor and is equipped with dynamic protection.
According to the developers, UBIМ was created to improve the efficiency of engineering units - including in direct contact with the enemy. The vehicle is designed to play a key role in breaking through fortified positions and supporting offensive operations.
The platform combines the capabilities of three specialized vehicles - an armored recovery vehicle, a clearance vehicle and a demining vehicle. The high level of protection and maneuverability make UBIМ a universal solution for escorting troops in conflicts of any intensity.
UBIМ is equipped with a bulldozer blade, a crane boom with a maximum lifting capacity of 7500 kg, an excavator bucket or a hydraulic hammer.
The equipment has already been sent to the units, where it will undergo the stage of mastering and integration into the regular structure of the engineering units.
