Strategic shipbuilding plant in Russia avoided bankruptcy

The Arbitration Court of the Yaroslavl Region terminated the proceedings in the bankruptcy case of the Yaroslavl Shipbuilding Plant (YaSZ). The Moscow-based LLC "PRO Factor" filed this claim against the enterprise due to a debt of 14.4 million rubles.

On February 16, the court initiated a case on the insolvency of the plant at the request of the plaintiff, but on March 12, "PRO Factor" filed a motion to terminate the proceedings. A company representative explained that the refusal was due to the parties settling the issue of the payment procedure for the debt.

The basis was YaSZ's debt of 14.4 million rubles, which arose after the repair of the "Kapitan Sergeev" vessel of project 23470.

The Yaroslavl Shipbuilding Plant is one of the strategic ones. The company builds Project 21820 "Dugong" air cavity patrol boats, as well as Project 10006 trawlers.
