Kulikins Created a Drone Interceptor from Styrofoam: The Motor Allows it to Accelerate to 150 km/h

The "Sokol-I" developed by KBP "Polet" rises to a height of 5 km

The company KBP "Polet" has developed a new drone interceptor "Sokol-I". It consists entirely of cheap styrofoam, and the striking power is provided by a warhead in the form of a hand grenade.

The technical equipment of the "Sokol-I" includes a camera, a battery, a little electronics, and two wings. The drone interceptor accelerates to 150 km/h and rises into the sky up to 5 km. A high-definition camera will help to examine the desired sector in the sky in detail.

It has its advantages, the drone of the aircraft type. We can chase high-speed targets.

The military already has a solid collection of trophies, including drones of the SHARK, "Chaklun", "Leleka" and "Bliskavka" series.

At the same time, Moscow is sharply increasing the production of "Yolka" interceptors. Compared to "Sokol-I", its characteristics are slightly higher - acceleration to 230 km/h and a capture range of up to 3 km, but the drone hits the target with a kinetic strike, rather than a warhead.
