Tver Carriage Works (part of TMH) will manufacture 36 passenger cars for the new "Night Express" train on the Moscow — Adler route by the summer of 2026.
The train will retain its recognizable exterior: a black body with golden accents, inspired by the aesthetics of the night sky. Subdued pastel shades were chosen for the interior — a decision that will help passengers better tolerate the night journey.
The technical equipment of the cars meets modern comfort requirements. Compartments and sleeping cars are equipped with individual safes with electronic locks, sockets, and USB ports. Sanitary units are equipped with purifiers for drinking water. The staff cars are equipped with interfaces for controlling train systems and an expanded compartment for passengers with limited mobility, including an individual emergency exit with an inflatable ramp and a specialized toilet. A lifting device is provided for boarding from low platforms.
The train includes restaurant cars with a full kitchen: combi steamers, refrigeration equipment, microwave ovens, a bar, and a common hall. This allows for the organization of hot meals for all passengers en route.
Two trains will be formed from the 36 cars. Production is on schedule, and assembly is planned to be completed by the beginning of the summer season.
