Domestic companies that produce materials for printed circuit boards manufacture world-class products and cover current demand. The industry is confidently developing against the backdrop of enterprises switching to domestic components, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation said.
For example, the initial components for foil-clad fiberglass laminate are of Russian production. Leading factories have mastered their mass production.
The requirement for localization of production will strengthen the production infrastructure, ensure sustainable growth of domestic radio electronics and reduce dependence on foreign suppliers of critical components.
The companies have already been tasked with localizing resins and fiberglass. The department has taken control of the implementation of domestic solutions, guaranteeing their compliance with industry standards.
Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov also stated earlier that Russia has restored its competencies in microelectronics, lost in the 1980s.
