Mass production of the heavy "Vorobey-15" bomber drone has been launched in Novosibirsk. Andrey Bratenkov, Executive Director of the "Spektr" Design Bureau, said that the plant is currently producing about 1,000 such drones per month.
Production facilities allow us to produce about 1,000 units monthly. If necessary, if there is demand, production can be increased to 10,000 units monthly.
The device carries up to 15 kg of payload and is currently undergoing pilot operation in the Russian army.
We proceed from the fact that nothing should interfere with the completion of the combat mission, this equipment will have to fight, so it must be as reliable and durable as possible.
The company paid special attention to the maintainability of the drone. Each drone is equipped with a rich set of spare parts: spare beams, motors (two per set), bolts, plates and fasteners. Everything is made so that the drone can perform the task even after damage.
