At the Skolkovo Technopark, at the National Forum of Technologies for Housing and Communal Services, the engineering company "A Priori Machine Solutions", together with the Cheboksary Plant of Power Units, presented an updated line of "Silant" tractors with remote control function. According to the press service of ChZSA, the machines have already been launched into mass production at the site in Cheboksary.
The digital control module allows the operator to set the speed, limit the movement zone and precisely adjust the hydraulic linkage. The developers estimate the increase in productivity when working in the housing and communal services sector at 35%. The remote control system is offered as an option: its installation costs approximately 100 thousand rubles, which is significantly cheaper than foreign analogues with similar functions.
At the forum site, the ARM team demonstrated the capabilities of the Russian development using the example of the "Silant Universal" diesel tractor. The operator controlled the machine from the remote control, performing maneuvers in conditions of limited visibility — for example, near parked cars or engineering communications. This scheme increases the safety of work in cramped urban conditions and reduces risks for personnel.
The company emphasized that the remote control module is universal: the same controllers work on both diesel and electric bases, providing smooth adjustment of the stroke, maintaining a set speed and limiting movement. This simplifies the operator's work and increases the accuracy of maneuvering, especially when cleaning streets or servicing areas with dense buildings.
