Yandex has launched an experiment with new formatting in Alice AI. Now, when solving math problems, the neural network doesn't just give the answer, but helps to understand the topic: asks leading questions and explains the logic of the solution.
To enter the learning mode, simply click the "Try learning mode" button. The user finds themselves in a chat with the neural network, where they can write formulas by hand and use the built-in calculator. After analyzing the task, the AI offers similar examples to reinforce the material.
Currently, the function is available to a limited number of users, but will soon appear in the chat with Alice AI based on Yandex's new large language model.
We see AI as a tutor that can be useful for both schoolchildren and parents. At the same time, it is important to understand that artificial intelligence cannot replace teachers. It is useful for analyzing tasks, practicing skills, and preparing for exams.
According to a survey of 149 teachers from 16 Russian universities, 66% of teachers already use AI in their work. Most often, neural networks are used for image processing (54%), creating tests and assignments (52%), and preparing presentations (45%).
