"Tiger" based on a Soviet pickup: a unique IZH-2715 is being sold for almost 7 million rubles

The rare specimen is on a tracked chassis

A rare specimen is being sold in Moscow — an IZH-2715, converted into a stylized pickup for the "Tiger" project. The 2000 car has a mileage of only 1,000 kilometers and is in a condition that does not require repair, the Smirnov Design Bureau reported.

The original car was purchased in Moscow and reworked by a well-known enthusiast, in the past a famous racer Boris Polyakov. Then the car formed the basis of the IZH "Tiger" project, on which specialists from the Smirnov Design Bureau worked.

IZH-2715 was produced in two basic modifications: a van with vertical rear doors and a pickup with an open cargo area and a horizontal door. Two separate seats with adjustments were installed in the cabin, and a spare wheel was placed behind the passenger seat.

The cars were equipped with engines with a capacity of 67 or 75 hp (both with a volume of 1487 cm³), and the less powerful engine ran on cheaper A-76 gasoline. It is not specified which version is installed on the exhibited specimen.
