Anti-sabotage boat "Vladimir Nosov" hit BECs and drones of a mock enemy

Maneuvers involving the Project 21980 "Grachonok" vessel took place in the Baltic Sea

The crew of the anti-sabotage boat P-471 "Vladimir Nosov" (Project 21980 "Grachonok") destroyed drones and unmanned boats of a mock enemy from standard weapons. This was reported by the press service of the Baltic Fleet.

According to the plan of the exercises, the sailors recorded several BECs of a mock enemy in the area of task performance. They were hit from a large-caliber machine gun.

In addition, the crew fired at aerial targets simulating enemy UAVs. Air probes were used as targets.

About Project 21980 "Grachonok" boats

A series of boats to combat sabotage and terrorist forces was developed for the Russian Navy. The project has been implemented since 2008. The first boat P-104 "Nakhimovets" joined the Baltic Fleet in 2009.

P-471 "Vladimir Nosov" was laid down at the plant in Zelenodolsk in 2020. Two years later, the boat became part of the Baltic Fleet.
