In Moscow, an explosion occurred at the Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis during a scientific experiment. As a result of the incident, one person was injured. The exact causes of the emergency have not yet been disclosed.
It is known that the injured employee was immediately taken by medics. He was hospitalized to receive assistance. No information has been provided about the person’s position or current condition.
This is not the first similar incident in Russian laboratories. Back in December 2025, a tragedy occurred at Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU).
At that time, during tests at the aerospace faculty, an explosion also occurred. Two people were killed then, including a child. Two more were injured.
Specialists are now establishing all the circumstances of the explosion in Moscow. The results of the inspection will become known later.
