A new vertical machining center has been launched at the Cheboksary Power Aggregate Plant (ChZSA). The modernization will increase production by more than 20%, halve the production time for a number of components, and increase production flexibility.
The company is faster at reconfiguring lines for new types of parts and increases processing accuracy, which improves product quality. Investments in upgrading facilities by the end of 2025 exceeded 400 million rubles.
The equipment was purchased as part of a program to develop the production of axles and transmission elements. The plant has launched serial production of drive axles for backhoe loaders.
As part of measures to achieve a new level of production capabilities, the plant is consistently updating its fleet of technological equipment.
At the same time, the company launched a series of drive axles for Silant forklifts. The level of localization will exceed 80%. The management of ChZSA reported that the renewal of the machine tool fleet will expand the range and speed up the execution of orders.
