Captain of the USSR national football team Viktor Karpov's "Volga", made to order, is for sale

The rarest sedan with four headlights and a mileage of 21,301 km is estimated at 2.3 million rubles

A unique GAZ-24 car from 1976, which belonged to the legend of Soviet football Viktor Karpov, is being sold in the Samara region. The car was made to order for the captain of the second USSR national team and the Kuibyshev "Wings of the Soviets", according to the announcement.

The car stands out for a detail rare for those years — four headlights. Under the hood is a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 85 horsepower, a mechanical gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

The mileage is only 21 301 kilometers. The TCP indicates the only owner. They are asking 2.3 million rubles for a car that stores the memory of a famous football player.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a KGB general's Volga is being sold in Ingushetia — there were only 245 copies of such cars throughout the USSR. Each was assembled manually for special services, with reinforced units and non-standard equipment. Under the hood, it has a 5.5-liter V8 gasoline engine with a capacity of 195 horsepower in tandem with an automatic gearbox.
