A T-80BVM tank from the Vostok group of forces survived a series of kamikaze drone attacks and successfully completed its combat mission. The vehicle commander, with the callsign Aza, told TASS about this.
According to him, the tank column was moving toward its mission when the enemy tried to stop it with FPV drones. Despite numerous hits, the vehicle remained combat-capable. The commander noted that the crew managed to deliver the infantry to the position and return safely. The key role was played by the additional anti-drone protection installed on the tank.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that T-80BVM tanks had begun receiving non-standard protection, which the military nicknamed \"kartuz\". The structure resembles a cocoon made of steel sheets and grilles, covering almost the entire vehicle.
