Park for technical maintenance of passenger and freight trains

We are talking about differentially heat-strengthened railway rails with a length of 25 m and 100 m. They are designed for laying on sections with high traffic density, mountain passes, and lines with high-speed and combined traffic.

The products will be supplied both for link and seamless tracks, welded into strands of 800 meters or more.

According to the agreement, CHMK will ship a large volume of rails for switch plants, where turnouts will be manufactured.

The concluded contract will ensure the loading of CHMK's universal rail and beam mill, as well as a stable flow of funds.
Igor Khafizov, General Director of PJSC "Mechel"

CHMK is part of PJSC "Mechel", a large metallurgical and mining company. The company is constantly expanding its product line. In 2025, 4 new types of rails up to 100 m long were certified for high-speed lines (up to 400 km/h). Khafizov noted that the Chelyabinsk plant now produces about 98% of the rails needed for Russian Railways.
