The enterprise "Ufa Production and Design Association" (UPPO) has opened a large-scale recruitment drive. It has become known what salary workers and engineers at one of the largest aviation instrument-making enterprises in Bashkiria can expect.
Judging by the posted offers, starting salaries for blue-collar specialties begin at 25 thousand rubles.
This amount is offered, for example, to a wiring harness knitter, a coil winder, or a spring maker. A radio-electronic equipment assembler is promised from 50 thousand rubles.
Engineering positions are paid slightly higher. Lead design engineers and electronics engineers are offered from 57–59 thousand rubles, laboratory heads — from 50.7 thousand rubles, shop supervisors — from 57 thousand.
Among the advantages, the employer lists official employment, company-paid training, voluntary medical insurance, preferential mortgage terms, and extra pay for hazardous working conditions. Most vacancies involve a five-day work week on the first shift.
UPPO is part of the Rostec state corporation and is responsible for critically important electronic units of the SJ-100 and MS-21, which were previously purchased from Western companies. For the "Superjet," the enterprise produces electromechanical actuators that control wing high-lift devices, as well as the automatic control system.
For the MS-21, the plant makes electronic units that control cabin pressure and air conditioning.
