A unique example has appeared on the secondary market in Vladivostok — an armored T-98 Kombat SUV in an extended version. Only two such vehicles exist in the world, according to the seller. The rare vehicle is priced at 22.5 million rubles.
The 2005 vehicle is equipped with an 8.1-liter V8 gasoline engine producing 400 horsepower, an automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. The mileage is only 6 thousand kilometers, and the vehicle has had just one owner.
The T-98 Kombat has the maximum all-around B7 protection class. The SUV is registered and is offered in a "hatchback" body style — a version that was made exclusively to order.
The T-98 Kombat is a Russian armored SUV for VIP transport, developed in St. Petersburg in 1998. The project was worked on by Dmitry Parfenov's design bureau and the company "Avtokad," which specialized in vehicle armoring. It is one of the fastest vehicles in its class in the world. The armoring is carried out to classes from B2 to B7 — the latter provides protection against bullets up to 12.7 mm in caliber fired from sniper rifles, heavy machine guns, or anti-tank rifles.
