The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant (KnAAZ) named after Yu. A. Gagarin has increased production of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters and fourth-generation Su-35S fighters. This was reported by Khabarovsk Krai Governor Dmitry Demeshin.
He explained that the positive momentum in the region's manufacturing industry indicators will be supported by growth in aircraft manufacturing.
KnAAZ named after Yu. A. Gagarin has increased production of the best fighters in the world. That is, we produce remarkable combat aircraft: these are the Su-57, the Su-35, the Su-35S. And we can proudly say that these are perhaps not just the best, but aircraft already proven in combat conditions.
Demeshin added that the output of SJ-100 civilian aircraft will also be increased in the krai.
KnAAZ also regularly modernizes its production facilities. For example, in November 2025, it commissioned an anodizing bath cooling system using winter cold.
