An unusual offering has appeared on the secondary market for 1.5 million rubles — a convertible created on the basis of a 1982 VAZ-2121 "Niva". According to the documents, the car is officially listed as a convertible — the same entry appears in the traffic police database, the seller claims.
The car was built in AvtoVAZ's experimental workshop. The structure has been reinforced, and a soft top is provided for protection from rain. The owner assures that this is a one-of-a-kind example — even the AvtoVAZ museum does not have one like it.
The technical setup has been seriously upgraded: a new carburetor, radiator, upgraded engine head, gear-reduction starter, electric fuel pump, new wiring, brakes, and suspension have been installed. The engine remains the original one — in perfect condition, with no smoke and no oil consumption. At the same time, the owner removed the transfer case and front axle, turning the car into a summer leisure cruiser.
A sound system with an amplifier and capacitor has been installed in the cabin — you can throw open-air discos. The mileage is 30,000 kilometers, and it has had three owners in its history.
For those who want to add a touch of swagger: the thin crossbar behind the rear seats can be removed, split into two halves, and stowed in the trunk. I'm selling it without enthusiasm — I don't even really want to sell it. I've had it for 11 years, I've just had my fun with it.
