Tracked version of the "Ant" radio-controlled airfield for drones is being developed in Russia

The portable drone launch trolley received the Hermes jam-resistant communication system

Specialists of NPO Kaisant are developing a radio-controlled airfield for drones "Ant" on a tracked chassis. This was announced by an official representative of the company.

According to him, there is already a prototype of a radio-controlled trolley. "Ant" was produced in small series in various modifications. All products were sent to customers.

Now we are receiving feedback from the units that ordered these platforms for their specific needs.

The developing company will take into account the wishes of the operators and will proceed to mass production of updated products.

All versions of the "Ants" received different "stuffing": engine, control systems. At the same time, they are almost identical in their architecture.

  • Weight — 27 kg
  • Load capacity — 25 kg
  • Speed of movement over rough terrain — 9 km/h
  • Jam-resistant communication "Hermes"

Drones are delivered to the launch site in hibernation mode (energy-saving mode), and then activated to perform combat missions.
