The Krasnodarselmash agricultural machinery plant in Krasnodar will be converted into a public center called "Workshop," including a children\'s park, a sports and wellness complex, and a thermal complex with an area of about 6,000 sq. m. The project will be implemented in the Patryki residential complex currently under construction.
Around 11.3 billion rubles is planned to be invested in the renovation of the territory of the former Krasnodarselmash plant. Construction is being handled by the Tochno Group of Companies.
The developer promised to take the renovation of the site seriously and preserve some industrial elements of the former enterprise (brick towers and historic locations). The total area of the new space will amount to 15,000 sq. m.
The plant was declared bankrupt in 2008. Since 1927, the enterprise had produced combine harvesters, grain loaders, and other agricultural machinery.
