The legendary GAZ-AA truck from 1938 is up for sale for 15 million rubles in Moscow. The car has been completely restored and is in perfect technical condition, while retaining its original elements, the seller notes. The car's mileage is 8254 km.
The GAZ-AA, also known as the "Polutorka", is equipped with a gasoline in-line naturally aspirated engine, a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The model began to be produced in 1932: the prototype was the American Ford AA truck of the 1930 model, which was later redesigned according to Soviet drawings.
The restoration was carried out with maximum preservation of authenticity: the body, frame and suspension have no traces of corrosion, the engine runs without extraneous noise, the owner claims. The electrics and dashboard remained original, as at the time of release. The interior and door trim have been restored manually. The car is equipped with a historical emblem and military symbols.
