The naval anti-aircraft missile and artillery system (SAM system, developed by the Tula KBP named after Shipunov) "Pantsir-ME" successfully destroys surface drones. This was stated by a representative of the holding "High-Precision Systems" (part of Rostec).
The naval "Pantsir-ME" effectively performs against unmanned boats.
Rostec previously stated that "Pantsir-ME" is the only system in the world in whose turret a powerful artillery and multi-mode missile armament is integrated.
Components of the radio-location-optical control system of the SAM system:
- optical radar
- long-range radar
- target tracking radar
The state corporation emphasized that the "Pantsir-ME" has practically no blind spots. In addition, the system has a fully automatic mode of operation. It can be installed on warships of various classes.
"Pantsir-ME" is a multi-channel short-range artillery system designed to protect ships from air attack weapons, including drones of various types. Missile weapons (8 missiles) and 2 six-barreled 30 mm automatic guns are used to engage targets. The production of the SAM system has been established in Tula.
