The Wildberries marketplace will purchase the first batch of Russian-made Kvadra Tau mini computers. The devices externally resemble the Apple Mac mini, which the company used previously. As part of the upgrade of its equipment fleet, Wildberries also intends to test computers from other Russian brands.
It is reported that the marketplace will purchase 100 Kvadra Tau mini mini-computers. This brand is a sub-brand of Yadro, which specializes in server equipment. Yadro has confirmed its plans to organize deliveries for Wildberries.
The cost of one mini-PC varies from 100 thousand to 123 thousand rubles. The company's total expenditure on a batch of 100 devices may amount to approximately 10-12 million rubles. At the same time, the price of a Mac mini ranges from 74 thousand to 370 thousand rubles.
The computers must be delivered to the Wildberries warehouse in Domodedovo. Although the documentation does not mention which departments they will be intended for, a representative of Wildberries Bank is listed as the contact person. The configuration of the devices has not yet been disclosed, it is only known that they are based on Intel Core i5 processors.
At the moment, Kvadra Tau mini computers have only just appeared on the market. Their production cost 300 million rubles.
