At the «Nobel Brothers» shipyard (part of the «Kalashnikov» concern), the loading of two main engines with a capacity of 2 × 1800 kW onto the icebreaker tug «Narvskaya Zastava» of project 3262 class KM Arc4 [1] R3-RSN AUT2 Tug has been completed. The engines were placed on a prepared foundation in the engine room.
Currently, the installation of main and auxiliary equipment, as well as the assembly and integration of key systems, is underway on the vessel. In parallel, electrical installation, painting, insulation, installation of deck equipment and towing and mooring mechanisms are being prepared. Tanks are being prepared for basic tests.
Construction is proceeding according to plan, with technical readiness exceeding 40%. The customer is the Committee for Nature Management, Environmental Protection and Environmental Safety of St. Petersburg.
The manufacturer emphasizes the complexity of the project: with a length of 42.5 m, the tug is equipped with a lifting wheelhouse, folding masts and antennas for navigation under the Neva bridges.
The vessel is designed for operation in the waters of the Neva and Svir rivers, Lakes Ladoga and Onega, as well as the coastal zones of the Gulf of Finland in the Leningrad Region.
