"Aeroflot" announced the launch of mobile cash registers in 13 airports across the country. Now, passengers can pay for additional services without contacting the carrier's sales offices or agents. The terminals accept payment by bank cards and biometrics.
Mobile cash registers are available at check-in counters in St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Volgograd, Gorno-Altaysk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Sochi, Khabarovsk, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
The very first airport where the airline installed such terminals at counters and gates was Pulkovo.
From 2024 to 2025, Sheremetyevo and Krasnoyarsk's Yemelyanovo airport were equipped with this equipment. Passengers departing from these two airports and the St. Petersburg airport can pay for an upgrade to business class or a Space+ seat directly at the gate, if such seats are available.
According to company statistics, mobile cash registers are most often used to pay for excess baggage, upgrades, and pet transportation.
By the end of 2026, Aeroflot plans to equip the main airports on its domestic route with mobile cash registers.
