Cadets of the Nizhny Novgorod Engineering School have begun training in drone piloting and maintenance

Students are also becoming familiar with the operation of the ground robots "Kurier" and "Depesha"

At the Nizhny Novgorod Guards Higher Military Engineering Command School, an educational program in drone piloting and technical maintenance has started. Cadets are also being taught to create the necessary parts on a 3D printer.

We are undergoing training in the design of various kinds of systems. In addition, the cadets carry out work on installing boards and assembling unmanned systems.

The school has all the necessary infrastructure: classrooms with computer simulators, as well as open training grounds and tracks with an obstacle course for practical exercises.

According to one of the cadets, captured drones are brought to the educational institution. The students familiarize themselves with the samples, study their firmware, and try to reflash them for new tasks.

What else is studied at the Nizhny Novgorod Engineering School:

  • microelectronics
  • configuration of UAV processors
  • development of programs for data transmission to an FPV drone

In addition, the cadets are shown the ground robots "Kurier" and "Depesha," which Russian servicemen use in the theater of military operations.
