In January 2026, Lada became the leader among budget cars. The most popular model in the segment up to 1.5 million rubles was the Granta. In the first month of the current year, 15 thousand such cars were purchased on the used car market at an average price of 567,084 rubles.
Among the cars also popular with Russians were: Hyundai Solaris — 868,425 rubles, Lada Priora — 385,969 rubles, Lada Vesta — 985,386 rubles, and Kia Rio — 934,167 rubles.
In the mass segment, where prices range from 1.5 to 5 million rubles, Toyota Camry and Toyota RAV4 rank first, with prices of 2,419,422 and 2,549,110 rubles respectively. Buyers are also interested in the Kia Sportage (2,216,086 rubles), BMW 5 Series (2,897,768 rubles), and BMW 3 Series (2,796,510 rubles).
In 2025, 81.2 thousand used cars were imported to Russia from China — 245% more than in 2024. Record import volumes were recorded in December, after changes to the rules for calculating the recycling fee.
