Radio Equipment Plant Put Up for Sale in St. Petersburg Over Debts

The workshops of Red Star Software were valued at 120 million rubles

In St. Petersburg, the building of the Red Star Software radio equipment plant has been put up for auction. The auction is scheduled for March 4.

For the building with a total area of 1,460 m² in Rzhevka, the bankruptcy trustee intends to raise 120 million rubles.

Construction of the industrial workshops for the plant began in 2015, but the project was completed only in July 2025, and a month later Red Star Software went bankrupt.

The insolvency claim was filed by the company Yur-Servis, with whose assistance Red Star Software had processed construction permit documents.

Subsequently, the company transferred the debt to Stroi-Trest; it is this company that holds the completed building as collateral. The debt amounts to slightly more than 2 million rubles.

In total, 26 lawsuits were filed against Red Star Software for a combined amount of 157 million. Among them, the city Committee for Property Relations is suing the company over unpaid land lease fees; the debt has reached 59 million rubles.
