Russian companies are increasingly implementing artificial intelligence, and the need for qualified personnel is growing at an accelerated pace. According to Anastasia Zaltsman, HR Director at MWS AI, AI requires specialists at all stages - from model configuration to solution support in industrial operation.
The expert noted that the growth in demand for AI personnel is not related to the expansion of the market as a product, but to the implementation of technologies in business processes. The transition from pilot projects to industrial application requires user support, model adaptation, employee training, and process configuration. At the same time, the same pool of specialists is in demand in various industries: banks, telecommunications, industry, retail, medicine, and the public sector.
According to MWS AI, for every truly qualified specialist, there are 3-4 people with formal education, but without practical experience and experience in working with data. This creates a gap and requires additional resources for further training. Another problem remains the shortage of teachers competent in AI, which stimulates the development of hybrid educational models - joint programs of universities and companies, corporate master's programs and tracks. In such schemes, teachers act as facilitators and mentors working with real cases.
