Parking in Moscow has returned to its normal operating mode after the New Year holidays, the Moscow City Hall reported.
From December 31 to January 10, parking on all city streets was free. On January 11, street parking operated according to the Sunday schedule: free in most zones, with the exception of streets with tariffs of 380, 450 and 600 rubles/hour, as well as zones with a dynamic tariff.
From January 12, 2026, all parking zones have become paid again. At the same time, on Sundays and public holidays, parking continues to be free in most zones.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov previously reported that in 2026 Muscovites will have more than 70 days of free parking: 50 Sundays and 21 public holidays, including January 1-10, February 23, March 8-9, May 1-2, 9 and 11, June 12-13, November 4 and December 31.
